Hi there, I’m a registered nurse with specialised training and recognition in mental health. With over a decade of experience as a mental health nurse, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges. I’m passionate about listening, understanding, and creating a safe space for growth and healing. I’m currently completing a Master’s in Counselling to further enhance my skills. I have a particular interest in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), which can be incredibly effective in building emotional resilience and improving stress tolerance. As your counsellor, my goal is to empower you to navigate the seasons of your life with confidence. I take a person-centred approach, tailoring support to your unique needs and circumstances. One of the tools I frequently use is the Australian Government’s Initial Assessment and Referral Decision Support tool. It’s a fantastic framework for understanding stress points and protective factors across different areas of life, helping us identify the best path forward together. In my spare time (outside of work and studying), I love relaxing with my husband and our cats. On beautiful sunny days, you’ll often find me outside enjoying time with my chickens, tending to the garden, or taking a refreshing swim. I also have a soft spot for a good book and the occasional afternoon nap—it’s all about finding balance! Let’s work together to explore your strengths and uncover new possibilities for your mental health and well-being.

I'm a passionate and experienced Social Worker with specialisation in the NDIS. I utilise a person-centred and compassionate technique in my practice and really value strengths-based approach and connection in everything I do. Over the years, I've been exposed to community mental health, aged care, disability services, and homelessness support. I'm especially driven by helping people feel included and empowered—no matter their background or circumstances. In my free time, I enjoy walking/jogging by the beach and I do this almost every night after work. Nothing beats hearing the soothing sound of the ocean after a long day!

Hey, I’m Hazz – a Mental Health Registered Nurse working with NeuroTribes Aust. I’m focused on building genuine connections, listening without judgment, and supporting people in a way that works for them. I’ve worked in both inpatient and community mental health, and I bring a calm, respectful, and practical approach to everything I do.
Outside of nursing, I’m an artist, a proud dad of two brilliant boys, and someone who values honesty, creativity, and showing up for people. I enjoy using creativity and clear communication to help others feel safe, understood, and supported. Everyone’s journey is different, and I’m here to walk alongside them every step of the way.
