• PBS Practitioners identify the underlying causes of behaviours of concern, helping participants receive support that addresses the root cause rather than just the behaviour itself.
• Using evidence-based, person-centred strategies, PBS helps reduce behaviours that may impact the participant's safety, wellbeing, or quality of life.
• Participants are supported to develop communication, emotional regulation, coping, and daily living skills that promote greater independence.
• By creating supportive environments and teaching positive strategies, PBS enables participants to engage more confidently in home, school, work, and community activities.
• PBS Practitioners work closely with families, carers, support workers, and other professionals, providing practical guidance and consistent strategies that everyone can use.
